Venue for FMOODS and IWQoS Workshops
workshops will be held at:
ENST - Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications - Paris
46, Rue Barrault
75634 - PARIS CEDEX 13
France
ENST, aka Telecom Paris, is located in the southeren part of Paris, in
the Quarter of "Butte aux Cailles" (hill of quails), one of the old
districts and the third highest hill in Paris. The quarter has a
``village'' atmosphere with a pedestrian area and many pubs and
restaurants. The Quarter is 15 minutes walk from China Town and 15
minutes by bus (line 21) from the Latin Quarter.
How to reach to ENST from Paris airports
ENST is ten minutes walk from the "CORVISART" metro station
(on line 6). In Paris the metro and the suburban commuter
(RER) are interconnected; you can travel from one system to the
other with the same ticket. However, while any trip on the
metro system costs one ticket, the price of the trip on the
RER system depends on its trajectory.
- From Charles de Gaulle Airport:
-
- Take the shuttle at the Airport for the RER station.
- Buy an RER ticket to Paris-section-urbaine (metro ticket
included). It costs about 40 FF.
- Take the RER B. Get off at station "DENFERT-ROCHEREAU", then
metro line 6, direction "NATION", and get off at "CORVISART"
station.
- ENST is 10 minutes walk from there.
- The RER trip between the airport and Paris is about 45 minutes.
You can also take a taxi (180-200FF).
- From Orly airport:
-
Take the ORLYBUS (about 30FF): for ``DENFERT-ROCHEREAU'', get off at
``Rene Coty'' station. Then it's a 10 minutes walk to ENST.
Taxi from Orly Airport costs about 100FF.
