    QuPa (QUantum information PAris) is a meeting series aimed at bringing together the quantum information community in and around Paris.

    There are by now many groups doing quantum information in Paris, and over a large range of topics, from theoretical computer science to experimental quantum information. With such a wealth of ideas and expertise we thought it would be a nice idea to bring people together in a relaxed setting so we all may benefit from the extent and energy of the Paris quantum information community, hence QuPa. The idea is to have a relaxed day of discussion and interaction, and to give the chance for all groups to see what else is going on and to interact. Also, perhaps, as visitors pass through, to give some visibility to the groups here. Meetings will be held roughly once every three months, giving all the groups around Paris the chance to present their work, and keep the Quantum Paris community up to date with progress.

    Please let us know if you are interested in attending, and presenting at a meeting. And please also spread the news to any other researchers you feel may be interested.

    Looking forward to a great and energetic future for quantum information in Paris.
