Daughter Of Zeus, Athena is a virgin goddess of wisdom, practical skills, and prudent warfare. Zeus, after having eaten Metis, the goddess of Prudence, had a sudden big headache whereupon Vulcan split his head with the help of an axe. As a result, Athena was born fully armed from his head. She was her favourite daughter because of her determination. She built the famous Argonaut's ship. Athens, the capital of Greece tributes to this severe goddess.
