- Venus and Mars

Mars

Born of Zeus and Hera, Mars is the god of war. He is known to have been Venus's lover with whom he had two children Deimos and Phobos (the Terror and the Fear) and a daughter Hermione (goddess of the Harmony). He also had children from other women, such as Romulus and Remus from Rhea, Cycnus from Thebe, and Evadne from Pirene.

Venus

The goddess of love and beauty is thought to be born from Uranus's blood when his son, Saturn, attacked him. That blood was mixed with water and then she was born from the foam of water in a shell. She later married the ugliest god, Vulcan. Her belt was essential because it contained grace, sex appeal, inviting smiles, soft talk, an expressive silence and eloquence of the eyes. She was Paris's favourite and he gave her the famous apple. She loved Mars and also Adonis, a handsome youth killed by a wild boar. She had several children such as Hermaphrodite from Hermes, Cupid, the Graces which are Aglaia, Euphrosine and Thalia, givers of charm and beauty.
