This demo need to be run in local like xv or gs. You need a new type in your '.mailcap' enable programme to be executed in local. Put in your '.mailcap':
application/x-secure-binaries; /usr/local/bin/secure-x-app %s
You need to compile the source of secure-x-app. Edit , compile and install it in /usr/local/bin. If you keep the original programm you need to create the directory /usr/local/ttpsmb. Kill and restart mosaic.
Now you are ready to execute any programm that can be found in /usr/local/ttpsmb. TAKE CARE IN FILLING THIS DIRECTORY. You can put any programm as secure as xv or gs . This programm can be call from mosaic server typed like this:
AddType application/x-secure-binaries .smb
I add this line in srm.conf of my httpd server. You can try if this work in doing:
cd /usr/local/ttpsmb ln -s /usr/bin/X11/xclock xclock
And now click HERE to run ' xclock -rv'. The file xclock.smb contain only one line:
xclock -rv
You can , now, take all binaries of Tks demos. Binaries is in ftp://sig.enst.fr/pub/Tks/bin Install the binaries in /usr/local/bin and link them in /usr/local/ttpsmb.
