Stochastic routing and percolation theory applied to quantum networks

Le Quoc Cuong,Akim Demaille,Patrick Bellot

We have developed a model of stochastic routing for quantum networks and proved its validity using percolation theory. Usual models of quantum networks focus on trusted models where all the network nodes are assumed to be perfectly secure. This restricts quantum networks to be small. This model is dedicated to large-scale quantum networks where some of the nodes can be secretly eavesdropped. We have shown that under computable conditions,large-scale quantum networks can protect the transmission of data with a extremely high probability. Simulations have validated our approach.
